Acceptance

When we entered Shelter At Home in Santa Ana back in March of 2020, I was not sure how to process it all, so I decided to take out my camera. While having to work full-time, and tend to our two children with extra needs, we were hanging on by a thread-as most of the world was. Lindsey Caneso urged me to keep going, and asked me to let her lay them out in a photography book once I had enough pieces to pull from. This whole project stems from acceptance, love and collaboration. Without her, these photos would have just lived in the digital world forever. Because she saw the personal, intimate quality of these images, we were able to bring it to life.
